New to Mezza Coda, the Distbox layer uses the Portastudio as a distortion device to add bold, gritty textures to your sound. By recording the piano at high levels of saturation and then slowing down the tape, we’ve created a raw, distorted signal that gives your music a powerful edge. Mezza Coda comes equipped with two sends: Reverb and Delay, each featuring multiple modes for you to experiment with. Use the Color Knob to adjust the tone – move it left for a darker, more body-rich sound, or right for a brighter, thinner tone. Want to sync your delays to the tempo? Use the Sync Toggle for perfect timing.
