Convergent Bank – Exploring Material Resonance ⚡

The Convergent Bank features 220 sound-designed presets born from the exploration of material resonance. Using surface transducers and metallic objects, we’ve created abstract, elemental variations that stretch the limits of traditional synthesis. Combined with Oil Drum and Thunder Sheet resonances, this collection produces tonal and spatial variances that evolve into harmonic disturbances, adding organic richness to the original synth material.

A special Thundersheet layer was captured with the Lom Geofón, an omnidirectional contact mic with an ultra-low frequency response, adding depth and power to the Convergent presets. 🌩️

Divergent Bank – Sonic Textures through Re-amping 🎧

The Divergent Bank holds 220 presets that explore traditional re-amping techniques, creating an expansive sonic landscape. Synth samples were sent through 180-watt stereo cabinets, blending mic feeds and outboard chains to introduce width, colour, and unique tonalities. Carefully captured with Sanken CU-41s and SM-57s, these presets deliver flawless fidelity and detailed warmth.

We also pushed the boundaries with a Korg MS-20‘s external signal processor, overdriving signals for destructive, uncontrolled results that push sound into experimental territory. 💥

Relics Bank – Warmth, Nostalgia, and Organic Charm 🌀

The Relics Bank offers 20 presets that evoke a sense of warmth and nostalgia. Each sound is re-recorded onto 1/4″ tape and cassette, then sent through boutique pedals, introducing saturation and gritty textures. These recordings preserve their unique patina, offering a raw and organic vibe that transforms them into something timeless and human.
