Craft your own custom kits or dip into a range of presets, loops, and groove patterns curated by Karriem himself, as tightness and swing controls make it simple to dial in head-nodding beats that sway perfectly in the pocket.
The main page of the instrument gives you a simple interface designed to help you focus on playing. Quickly tweak sounds using the six assignable macro knobs.
Customize your drum sounds on the Kit page. Swap other samples in and out while adjusting pitch, velocity, and more, plus edit sounds further with four insert effects, the stems page, and added noise options.
Quickly generate grooves with a selection of 16 rhythmic patterns for every kit, which can also be edited in any DAW via MIDI drag and drop.
Customize the effects chain of any preset with the Effects Editor. Quickly select from a range of powerful KONTAKT effects using the drop-down menu, or change the order via drag-and-drop.
Edit the assigned macro controls, control parameter ranges, change macro mappings, and create your own custom controls from one dedicated page. The colored macro dots give you visual feedback on your mappings for maximum ease of use.

Boasting simplicity, KARRIEM RIGGINS DRUMS tucks a kaleidoscope of percussion into a vivid interface – beautifully designed by artist Jason Jägel. Captured with care at the iconic Studio 3 at Sunset Sound, the sounds are treated with equal creativity, having been processed through modular units, tape machines, spring reverbs, and mixed up with some of Karriem’s own secret sauce. The result? Standout sounds that encourage experimentation and are everything but mechanical.
