The Emotional Viola was recorded at Mastermix Studio near Munich, using high-end Neumann microphones (KM184 and U87) to capture the instrument’s rich, nuanced sound in a wood-paneled room with high ceilings for a natural, spacious recording. The close miking provides a subtle room tone, allowing you to shape the sound with your own effects or use the integrated Convolution Reverb for realistic spatial effects.
